Brittany Bennett has years of experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. She completed an Undergraduate Degree in Speech and Language Sciences, followed by a Graduate Certificate program to become a registered Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA). Brittany has worked alongside many Speech-Language Pathologists, participating in assessments, development of goals, and implementation of speech and language therapy.
As a CDA, Brittany has been able to build close relationships with families and school staff to meet clients goals and build lasting relationships along the way.
Services with Brittany will mean you are working with someone who cares, someone who is passionate about what they do, and someone who will be there to guide you through your communication journey.
A Speech-Language Pathologist is someone who has completed a Master's degree and is able to assess and provide a treatment plan for clients seeking speech and language therapy.
A Communicative Disorders Assistant is someone who is trained to implement speech and language therapy under the guidance of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Since Brittany is a Communicative Disorders Assistant, fees are lower than if you were to see a registered Speech-Language Pathologist. The posted rates do not include a formal assessment, and intervention will be based on screenings (smaller assessments) and client's desired outcomes.
Unfortunately, insurance health benefits only cover speech therapy sessions provided by registered Speech-Language Pathologists, or Communicative Disorders Assistants working under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Brittany Bennett Speech and Language Therapy does not currently have a registered Speech-Language Pathologist available to provide supervision, thus sessions would not be covered.
At Brittany Bennett Speech and Language Therapy, we are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients. Our evidence-based approach to therapy has proven to be highly effective in treating a variety of speech and language disorders. However, the success of therapy ultimately depends on the individual needs and goals of each client.
During the initial consultation, it will be determined if the desired outcomes are achievable for Brittany Bennett Speech and Language Services. If the desired outcomes are out of our scope, you will be encouraged to find services elsewhere.
